The Town of Dovre enforces a Dog Ordinance and all dogs over five (5) months of age must be licensed
- A notice will be sent with your tax bill and must be paid to the clerk/treasurer no later than the 31st of March
- The cost is $5.00/dog if they are spayed or neutered or $10.00/dog if they are not
- If you need multiple tags the cost is $35.00 for up to 12 dogs
- A current rabies vaccination certificate must be on file before a license is issued. If you are unsure if one is on file please contact the clerk/treasurer

In accordance with Wisconsin State Statute 349.16, the Town of Dovre may “impose special weight limitations on any such highway or portion thereof which, because of weakness of the roadbed due to deterioration or climatic conditions or other special or temporary condition, would likely be seriously damaged or destroyed in the absence of such special limitations.”
